March was a month full of unforgettable moments!
Alexandra once again brought the magic of The Moonmill Tales to life on stage, accompanied by Mariia’s Yaremak captivating music, composed specifically for the book. During the workshop, participants joined Oleksandra in painting the Sun Cat, Sunpurr — a delightful activity that sparked joy and creativity.
Alexandra was especially moved by the smiles of children and adults as they allowed themselves to engage in simple, expectation-free creativity. “In those moments,” she reflected, “faces lit up, and people seemed to pause, immerse themselves in the magical world, and recharge their spirits.”
The event also held a wonderful surprise. Alexandra was invited to join a panel discussion alongside inspiring individuals from both the Ukrainian and British communities. Together, they explored the complex and deeply resonant topic of identity, reflecting on the timeless and timely question: Who am I?
