On December 22, 2024, St Pancras International in London hosted Ukrainian Carols of Hope as part of its Carolling for Causes 2024 program. This iconic venue, known for performances by stars like Elton John and Alicia Keys, became a stage for a unique blend of Ukrainian music, poetry, and art, celebrating culture and supporting children affected by the war in Ukraine.
As part of this extraordinary evening, Alexandra Dikaia, a Ukrainian artist and author, performed live art during the concert. Her symbolic and expressive illustration brought a visual dimension to the event, complementing the heartfelt performances by a string quartet, the Ukrainian Chorus, and renowned contributors like Stephen Fry and Kristin Milward.

The event featured Ukrainian composer Mariia Yaremak’s stunning arrangements of traditional melodies, including Shchedryk (Carol of the Bells), performed on Elton John’s piano. Alexandra’s live art enriched the atmosphere, adding a layer of magic and depth to this meaningful celebration of Ukrainian heritage.
